ATHLETES ARE BUILTSO ARE PEOPLE *

For more than two decades, I’ve coached and mentored young athletes. And one thing has become impossible to ignore: talent alone is never enough. The athletes who grow, succeed and become people others can rely on learn how to create a vision, set meaningful goals, build disciplined habits and hold themselves to a higher standard.

“WHY YOUTH PERFORMANCE INSTITUE?”

Youth Performance Institute was built around a simple belief: young athletes need more than instructions on how to play their sport.

They need to learn how to think. How to set a direction for themselves. How to turn that direction into meaningful goals, and those goals into daily habits and standards.

Because eventually the scoreboard disappears. The season ends. The uniform comes off. What remains is the person they built along the way.

Our goal isn't simply to produce better athletes. It's to help young people become disciplined, confident and resilient — capable of taking responsibility for where they're going and doing the work required to get there.

BUILD THE ATHLETE. BUILD THE PERSON!

MORE THAN A COACH

I’ve spent more than twenty years working with young athletes — on fields, in gyms, in team rooms and in conversations that had nothing to do with the scoreboard.

Somewhere along the way, I realized the most important part of coaching wasn’t teaching an athlete how to play a sport. It was helping them figure out who they wanted to become.

Sport simply gives us the proving ground.

It exposes our habits. Our discipline. Our excuses. Our confidence. How we respond when things go wrong. How we treat people when things go right.

That’s why I created Youth Performance Institute. Not to manufacture better highlight reels, but to give young athletes practical tools they can carry long after the game is over.

BUILT FROM EXPERIENCE, NOT THEORY!

Everything taught through Youth Performance Institute comes from more than two decades spent coaching, mentoring and working directly with young athletes.

Not from a textbook. Not from a weekend certification. From studying what worked, what didn’t and from years of watching athletes succeed, struggle, quit, recover, mature and discover what they are actually capable of.

I've seen talented athletes fall short because they lacked direction and discipline. I've also watched athletes with less natural ability accomplish extraordinary things because they developed better habits, stronger standards and the willingness to keep working when things became difficult.

Those experiences shaped and created the principles in “GAME PLAN - The Young Athletes Guide To Success!”

The objective has never been to tell young people what they want to hear. We started the Youth Performance Institute to give young athletes an advantage with practical tools they can actually use — in competition, in school, in relationships, in their careers and in life.
